Hello Wilbur and Colwyck!

This year is already turning out to be great! Keep working hard, and the hard work will pay off!

Pinwheels for Peace

Artists from Eisenberg and Wilbur will be participating in a group art instillation called “Pinwheels for Peace”!!!! Students created pinwheels that will be displayed for International Peace Day on September 21st! The instillation will be up from September 19th until the 25th. It will be located on “The Green” in Old New Castle, near Battery Park. You cannot miss the pinwheels, there will be thousands of them all together blowing in the wind with the hope that the word of peace will be spread all over the world!

If you would like more information about the Pinwheels for Peace, please visit the website: www.pinwheelsforpeace.com

Hello Wilbur and Eisenberg!

It’s a new school year and I am positive it’s going to be a good one!! I will be teaching at Eisenberg on Monday’s and Wilbur Tuesday-Friday. Throughout the year we will be focusing on “Inspiring Excellence” which is Wilbur’s theme. What does this mean for us? We will be inspiring each other each and every day through sharing experiences, looking at art through history, and communicating what we have learned. We will treat  each other as we would want to be treated, with respect and kindness. We will try our hardest to inspire those who are in younger grades and look up to us, by practicing all of these things. Together we will be “INSPIRING EXCELLENCE”!!!!!!

Hello Wilbur and Castle Hills!

I am so excited this year to be teaching at Wilbur we well as Castle Hills! I will be teaching at Wilbur: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I will be at Castle Hills on Thursdays. I look forward to a wonderful School year with so many new and exciting  projects for the students. Like always, I will also be collecting art throughout the year for our annual district art show that will be held in may. Thank you so much, and I look forward to a great year with the students!

Thank You!!

Another great year has gone by so quickly! The art show was fantastic and a BIG thank you is due to the students and parents of Wilmington Manor and Pleasantville! Some sad news though is that I will not be back next year to either of these schools. I have been assigned to Wilbur Elementary for the 09-10 school year. So thanks for all of the good times, and I will be missing all of the students very much.

Almost December!?!

I personally cannot believe how fast this year is going, but something must be said for all of the hard work and skills that the students have been achieving in art class. If some of your child’s art has not come home it may be for either a hallway display, or I may be saving it for a possability for the art show coming up at the end of April. If your child’s art does make it into the art show you will be receiving notification before hand about the date and time. Happy Holidays to everyone, and keep up the good work!

Hello Wilmington Manor and Pleasantville!

This year I am located at two schools, Wilmington Manor and Pleasantville. The majority of the school year I will be doing the same projects at both schools, so if you see work posted it will be a result of both schools. I hope you have a great year, I look forward to it!!!

Thank You Pleasantville and Wrangle Hill!!

Walking for a Cure!!

I recently participated in a “Walk for MS” at the riverfront, and I wanted to thank all of the teachers here and at Wrangle Hill for their support. All together we raised over $2,600!!! Thank You again for all of the support! Our team also got amazing shirts made from customink.com, they were fantastic!
